It was a bad time for us, as it was a rainy evening, the inside of the boat was very foggy and visibility of the works was not great. What's more, the explanations on the audioguide were only half-translated into French, the other half being in English.
View original review in French
The overall experience was good. The only thing we missed was that the explanation was in several languages or that we could have access to some kind of translation.

Nice in evening through the canal, could for me dwell a little longer at the light pardae exhibits, we sat backwards so was sometimes a little difficult viewing, especially for my elderly mother, but otherwise nice audio tour! And nice and warm in the boat and clean.

The festival is magnificent, and the French commentaries on the town's history are interesting. The inhabitants decorate their houses beautifully, adding to the artistic spectacle. The works of light are not of equal quality, but some are truly moving. The big drawback is that the whole thing lacks organization: you can end up outside the boat without wanting to, and it's not warm in the evening! The works are not commented in French, and the headphones are of poor quality.

The cruise was superb, with covered boats, which comes in handy when it's cold. The lights were superb and with the audio-guide it's interesting!

Seeing the lights was incredible. I wished they offered hot chocolate as a beverage, and the they wouldnt over crowd the boat.
Delay, tour too long given the crowds on the canals. Average comfort, wet cushions... slippery boarding pontoon. Too expensive for the service
View original review in French
The meeting point was very poorly described and the boat arrived much too late. The snacks were served in a bowl that was passed around which was quite unappetizing as everyone was reaching in with their fingers. That was a shame...but the guide was friendly and explained everything clearly.

Ric the entertainer was BRAVIOUS in cheering up the cruise. Here's what didn't work: First they announced the change of departure, which we struggled to find (not reported). From the scheduled time we waited half an hour in the cold (scheduled 6:15 pm departure at 6:45 pm). There was some confusion about getting people on (couldn't tell if everyone would fit). The boat had this plastic covering so the view was bad. However, the RIC facilitator was very good at explanations and getting all the people to participate!

The prob was the rain with the 30 mns queue and the poor visibility with this rain and the mist which prevented from seeing the outside.

I thought it was pleasant tour with a nice guide! He told a good story about the lights with a funny twist. I missed the red wine (not present) and in terms of appetizers, it was disappointing....

We were given the wrong meeting point of outside a Chinese restaurant. If it wasn't for another person who had contacted the provider we would not have known. We then arrived late because we were given incorrect meeting point information and refused boarding. We then had to wait 1 hour for the next boat. The staff before boarding were unhelpful, disinterested and caused someone with a knee disability to walk further than absolutely necessary. Nothing was done to help this person and it was more of a "sorry, but I'm not really sorry because you arrived late". To mitigate this happening in the future maybe they should station their helpers and ensure information is accurate about meeting points and then trying to put the blame on the customer. The only time things improved was when we were actually on the boat and the 2 ladies were knowledgeable, attentive and had excellent customer service skills. Those dockside, not very much!
Everything went smoothly with ticketing and Headout was great because we had to change the time of our cruise due to some unexpected scheduling issues. The cruise was fun even though it rained. There was plenty to drink and eat. The lights were interesting and spread out over the cruise time.
So the trip was nice and the drivers were great 👍 However, the boats were not yet prepared for departure and the covers were completely wet due to the rain. 🤷♀️ That delayed the departure by about 20 minutes. Otherwise everything was fine 😊

It was a very rainy experience, but the Guide Dean made the trip very pleasant and the skipper Gijs was very professional. The drinks were enough , but we had expectated more snackss
Our guide Sabrina was great fun. The Gluhwein was yummy and abundant. And, of course, the light were great even though there was rain.
Your host, Danielle the student from Germany, was amazing! Absolute pro, and very, very entertaining. I loved it! Nighttime canal rides with endless mulled wine are the way to go in Dam. The perfect end to a perfect day.
It turned out that we were in an extra hired salon boat: smaller and very atmospheric! Only the chaos before departure with several large groups was a bit less.

Best view of Amsterdam is from the canals - our guide was incredible with a great knowledge about the history of Amsterdam as well as the light festival. Loved it from start to finish and would highly recommend as a fun activity whether you're just visiting Amsterdam or have been there all your life.
The guides, the schedule and the drinks were great. We were only disappointed by the small number of light sculptures.

Pleasant hosts, nice little cruise and plenty to drink. Light festival itself very average compared to other experiences in other cities.

Nice ride through Amsterdam with background information about the lights and the whole city. Super nice and helpful crew.

Everything was in English, no French audioguide, simply no self-guide impossible to see the sets or the lights, I had to look at photos taken by other people. Vin chaud.... cold the lady didn't turn on the electric thermos
View original review in French
You ask me what I thought of the audio guide, but unfortunately there wasn't one :-( . The guide's voice was weak and covered by the boat pilot's voice. I'm a French speaker, so I need a lot of attention to understand English, which I'm not 100% fluent in, so not being able to hear properly meant I didn't understand any of the explanations, which is a shame.
View original review in French
Great cruise, friendly crew, heated boat with a little plaid for those who are a little chilly, unlimited drinks, soft ambiance. We recommend
View original review in French
Unfortunately, we got into the boat after a heavy shower - you couldn't see the lights, especially at the back of the boat, as there were no windows there, but rather foil windows. The rain stuck to them and was not removed before departure. This meant that they were only partially transparent. The problem was exacerbated by the very bright lighting on board. Loud groups of people were not asked to be quieter, so that some of the explanations were completely drowned out

Thijs was a good guide with good knowledge of Amsterdam. Mo was a good skipper. Was very enjoyable although this time we found the art tour to be little.

The interaction with the tour guide, the great views of the city & the drinks were really good which added to the fun of the cruise!
Magical excursion among the canals and lights reflected on the water, friendly and helpful staff on board. I appreciated the formula with drinks included!

The friendly, smiling history student guide Kirsten answered all our questions. She explained the various light installations at the Lichtfestival. The Norwegian skipper, who has a great sense of humor, informed us about many interesting aspects of culture and the digital world. We liked the fact that these 2 hosts got on well with each other and created a good atmosphere for the group. The drinks, chardonnay wine, were very good. The welcome on arrival was pleasant and very clear. In short, I 100% recommend the experience despite the wind and rain during the last 30 minutes. Nathalie and Frans

We enjoyed the tour. We've done many. Nou camp, parc de princes, Olympic stadium, old Trafford. To name a few. Our thing is to visit stadiums when we visit a city. And the kids have to get a shirt from the store as a souvenir!! This time my son got a shirt and when he opened it at our accommodation it turned out the wrong size was sealed in the packaging. He was devastated. I had lost the receipt and told him I'd order a new one online when we got back to Ireland. He insisted it wouldn't be the same unless it was from the stadium shop. So although I'd lost the receipt I had bank transactions online so I agreed to take a detour on the way to the airport (costing extra in tavel) and call back in store even with the luggage! Explained to the man at the counter and showed him the shirt and the packaging it came in. He spoke with his manager for less than a minute and swapped the shirts no problem. It was an adults shirt in age 13-14 package. Obviously came from the manufacturer packaged incorrectly and no fault of the store. We can't thank you enough for sorting that so quickly. It wouldn't have been the same ordering again online.
Our tour guide at the arena (Archie) was great! Very knowledgable and interacted with our whole group personally asking who they support and then rattling off facts or stats about that team. Defo purely recommend and I'd do it again despite just having been. The canal boat tour was nice and peaceful as our boat wasn't too full.
The freedom to look around allocated parts of the stadium in your own time. Accessing areas such as media room etc. Getting the chance to experience the journey of some of our heroes from changing to lining up to go on pitch. Managers chair - media also. A really enjoyable experience

The staff let us wander around undisturbed and were willing to answer any questions we had. Fantastic stadium, good access behind the scenes and a lovely wee museum.
My kids and I (7 and 10) loved the Johan Cruijff Arena tour! We didn't opt for the guided tour as I wasn't sure the kids would have had the patience. However, there are staff around and they are more than happy to answer any questions and tell you about the team. We saw the changing rooms, the stadium/pitch, trophies gallery, conference room...

Unique look behind the scenes of the Johan Cruijff Arena. Accompanied by an enthusiastic guide, we went to places where you can't normally go, such as the dressing rooms. We were also allowed to take a look at the field, from the highest point in the Arena and in a skybox. Really a very nice experience, which as far as we are concerned is definitely worth repeating!

The tour was excellent. Unfortunately we paid for the VIP tour but they mixed us up and done the classic tour. It was only half way through when somebody told us we should have been on the other tour so we eventually caught up with the VIP tour but we missed out on our scarves 😞
The tour guide was a fan of Ajax so he knew all there was to know and clearly had a passion for it, he was also very nice.
The VIP tour was amazing and really insightful. Even though we were running a little late we were still able to join the tour.

The tour led by our guide, Gauthier, was really great and comprehensive. He took the time to sound out the group to find out what everyone knew before the tour started, answered all our many questions and left time for photos if necessary. Thanks to him, anyone who hasn't yet read Anne Franck's diary will want to do so!

Our guide was fascinating. He took us on a tour of Amsterdam's Jewish quarter, with lots of details, all related to Anne Frank's life. Our children, aged 8 and 12, were enthralled. There were many exchanges with them about the diary and life in the annex. We didn't have the chance to visit Anne Frank's house, but we were delighted with our 2-hour walk. We arrived at the meeting point for the canal tour just as the boat was leaving... We had no trouble exchanging our tickets for the next cruise. Amsterdam looks magnificent from the canals

A fascinating tour with our guide Henk. Very good French, very good general knowledge, his comments enabled us to learn more about the Jewish communities through the history of Amsterdam up to the horror of the Second World War. As French-speaking visitors, we recommend Henk's tours with our eyes closed. We'll be back for sure!

Very knowledgeable guide, very professional and friendly. Vert interesting tour, saw parts of the city and leaned about history that we never would have if we didn't do the tour. I would highly recommend.
Our guide Henk was enthusiastic and passionate with a sense of humor. His tour took us through the life of Anne Frank and some of the history of Amsterdam's Jews from the 16th century to the present day. It was very interesting on a historical, human, religious and cultural level. An excellent guide, to be recommended.

The guided tours were good and very informative. Unfortunately, although I had booked a German tour, the tour was in English. I had booked the combined tour because it supposedly included admission to the Anne Frank House. Unfortunately, this was a mistake. It was the same for all participants who had booked this tour and wanted to visit the Anne Frank House. It was a rip-off and very annoying!

The guide Ola was very clear and provided a lot of information with the tour. I learned a different perspective of the Frank family in the Netherlands and the way the Netherlands dealt with the Second World War. I highly recommend the tour before going to Anne Frank's house.
We had a great experience, very informative and enjoyable. Recommend to all just remember to pre book your Anne Frank house tickets early if you want to go into her house
Walking tour of Ann Franck at its best! Passionate and fascinating guide! Lousy cruise, overcrowded boat, not enough room to sit, in short, a nightmare!

It was a very well organised and very informative walking tour. Our group guide Ms. Ala was so knowledgeable and friendly, she ensured everyone was engaged and participated. Learned so much about the world war 2 specially Anne Frank. The group size was kept small to make it more effective multiple groups with different guides was created. The tour is not tiring and easy to follow but suggest you wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
The best tour I've ever been on! The tour guide vybr/danial was absolutely incredible! It was the most worthwhile thing we have done and so much better than just going to the house! Vybr was so passionate and informative! His brain knows so much, he was like a walking Google! I took my 13yr old daughter with me and vybr engaged her and included her into the discussions I found this extremely considerate and thoughtful, he gave a truly inspiring insight into Anne frank and her life, the Jewish community and the city itself!! Definitely worth having a tour with Vybr!
The guide was brilliant. He was knowledgeable and able to bring to life a sad but amazing story. The pace of the tour was just about right, and he expertly dodge rain showers that came only ever as we stopped. Good value for money.
Czasandra, notre guide, était très agréable, et passionnée par son sujet. Elle a pris tout son temps pour nous expliqué l'histoire d'Anne Franck dans les détails. Extrêmement intéressant.
Our guide Xavier was enthralling and captivating throughout, and I was there with two teenagers who also loved it, despite the difficult subject matter. Highly recommended.

Excellent walking tour of Anne Frank's life, with a very clear and friendly guide. A must-do even with children. On the other hand, we didn't get the service we'd planned for the boat cruise. We enjoyed being able to go around at our own speed but we were disappointed that we couldn't go to the club store after the tour as it closed earlier than the last tour finished
The fact that it wasn't too crowded meant we were able to enjoy every step of the way. We enjoyed spending time in the stadium, the changing rooms and the trophy room. I'd recommend this visit to all soccer fans.

Really enjoyed thd vidut. My kids were overawed at the stadium. Being pitchside was terrific! Enjoyed the trophy room and thd press room. Took a couple of videos of me "interviewing " them in their capacity as Ajax head coach. Great fun!!
It was an incredible experience, in which I was able to learn about this brewery that has a beautiful history and super tasty beer.

That you had enough time to look around and take photos. Friendly staff. Insight into the changing room. Visually very nicely designed

A very nice stadium For its size, there is a surprising amount of space for fans and if they were equipped with standing room, even more would be possible

The location to board the bus was not clearly explained. We looked up "Prins Hendrikkade" as indicated on your web site. There was no bus at this location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/5E74PWiHgN53o5Fy5 You should show the exact address, so it can be found in a map program. We wasted an hour searching for the bus stop.
Covienience of the stops. The two drivers we had were a little cranky. Not very friendly or helpful at all. The second driver was almost rude. Trying to find the stop accross from the Movenpick Hotel was difficult. No signage.
Our bus driver didn't know the route and got lost. We ended up having a new driver halfway. Who thankfully was experienced and was good but the whole trip took much longer than expected and was very frustrating.
It was nice to see the city from a different perspective and you can cover more ground on the bus. The audio guide was very poor, the ride not particularly helpful or exciting in terms of learning more about Amsterdam. We stopped at the diamond cutting place, but if you weren't interested in touring it, you sat on the bus with nothing to do and no audio.
This multi-stop bus system enabled us to visit as many tourist attractions as possible. The audio guide's explanations were very useful for learning about the city's history.

Getting around to see some highlights. The audio was often just when we were passing or after passing the subject. The driver did not advise the stop. So we missed it and didn't have time to stay on to go around again for the stop we needed.
Helpful driver. Bought ticket online. Was easy.
The information given on the bus. The tour of all the big sites.
The bus ride the most. The boat was full and we couldn't sit together

The tour guide told many interesting stories about Van Gogh and the paintings. The tour is worthy time and money. Highly recommend
Our guide, Julia from Italy, was fabulous. Very clear, knew her subject and spoke at a nice pace where we had time to reflect and ask questions
Martine elevated our visit to the Van Gogh museum and made it a fantastic visit. We learned even more about Van Gogh during this return trip to the museum. The depth of knowledge and efficient delivery of information, comparisons and thoughtful questions kept us thoroughly engaged. Thank you for the tour.
Our guide Isabelle was superb; very committed + she introduced us to the Jewish quarter + she passed on more general information about life in the Netherlands: bicycles, boat to live...::

My guide was unbelievable. Her knowledge, her ability to explain the works of Van Gogh was a standout for me. Our guide's name was Marita (I think).
I've wanted to see the original Van Gogh paintings all my life. Was I at all disappointed, absolutely No! Our guide, Claire, was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable about art in general, and Van zHogh, in particular. Even though the museum was crowded, Claire made our experience seem intimate and personal.
It was awesome! The exhibition was very impressive; really enjoyed the display of the artist's work. The guide Clair W is a great professional of her craft; she showed the artist's work in terms of his contribution to world art. Would highly recommend Clair. The museum is incredible. Made even more incredible by our guide, Martina. She was incredibly knowledgeable and I learned more in 2 hours with her than I would have in an entire day on my own. I highly recommend having a private guided tour of the museum.
The experience at the museum was very organized, we had a lot of good insights and believe it or not even thought it was croudy, Claire M made our experience one that we could appreciate the museum art without being a hurry. Overall I got to see one of my favorite artist, without having to ask anyone for space to see the art. Claire is very punctual, informative, organized and kind. Hope everyone gets a good experience as I did.
We booked the guided tour because the museum tickets were sold out. But it was providential because The guide Martina was outstanding, Clear, nice and interesting. Thank you very much!

Excellent guide. She made a panning of Van Gogh's biography and his most famous works. Good predisposition and charisma.

Claire was the best guide! She is an Artist and her interpretation of Van Gogh art was enlightening! This tour allowed us enter the museum and avoid going with the crowd. Having the earpiece with Claire's voice and explanation of different pieces of art work made the Van Gogh Museum visit a wonderful and rememberable experience!
Excellent 2 hours with a very knowledgeable, pleasant and charming guide. Would recommend the same tour to future travelers
Claire W was a fabulous guide! She is passionate & very knowledgeable! Her delivery of the topics was stellar & she took care to distinguish between what we know of VanGogh & what was gossip. She was careful to ensure her students could see the pieces & took time to ask if her folks were keeping up with her & recognized the points she was making. Best tour guide I've had in Europe. Keep her happy, she is a treasure for your company.
More of Van Gogh, less or none of other artists. It is after all called the Van Gogh museum! Could not give two shits about Gauguin or whoever. Ill go to Musee Dorsay for that. It is also very sad, the commercial aspect selling Van Goghs work on anything you can think of. It'll be on cigarettes and condoms next.
This tour fulfilled my dream of seeing that many Van Gogh paintings in one place. The tour guide was wonderful! Lots of historical information about Vincent and his life and times. He also mentioned something I'd never noticed or heard mentioned before. Looking at the Iris painting, he noted the broken stem of flowers and said that even in his most beautiful paintings, Vincent often included something tragic. I'll be looking with a new perspective now. On the down side, my group, along with six others signed up for the tour, waited at the meeting place for 40 mintues until just before 10AM, we decided to go to the museum doors to ask about our guide. When we arrived, there was our guide with a green sign and another group of people. You guys really need to get together on your published meeting place instructions. It was very stressful; we could have missed out on this wonderful experience.
There were only 3 of us, so we were able to enjoy a lot. The guide is very good and entertaining. Seeing the museum in this way is very different. I recommend it. It is worth it.

The Van Gogh museum was all I imagined and better. Our guide, Holly was very friendly, informative and helpful. She made the tour so intersting and added her own personal touch. I will be back!
The meeting point reported by the Headout App is wrong. The guide was waiting for us at the group entrance door, not at the Specular Cube. I had to call the tour operator
The museum was fantastic but what really made the experience was our guide, Josephina from Argentina! Her passion shone through and really made the tour outstanding. Her knowledge was amazing, she spoke with such enthusiasm and all the little anecdotes about Vincent's tragic life made the whole experience truly memorable. Thank you Josephina!
La guida Claire W. era molto preparata ed esperta nella gestione di un tour di gruppo. Ci ha fatto imparare a riconoscere i tratti distintivi e rivoluzionari dell'arte di Van Gogh in relazione con l'arte a lui contemporanea.
Jennifer was an awesome leader. She conveyed her enthusiasm and empathy for Van Gogh and enriched my experience in the museum. It was crowded with people but the speaker system allowed us to hear her very well and gave us some freedom of movement. Jennifer brought along additional materials which she shared with us using her I-pad.
The guide and the art made it memorable.
Ausgezeichneter Reiseleiter, exzellentes Museum mit einmaligen Bildern, einfach fantastisch! 👍👌💪
The guide in English was calm, pleasant and funny. I recommend it.
