Best time to visit the NEMO Science Museum

NEMO Science Museum
  • Peak season vs low season: The best months to visit depend on personal preferences and considerations. If you prefer fewer crowds and a quieter atmosphere, it's advisable to plan your visit during off-peak months from September to February. These months see fewer tourists, allowing you to explore the exhibits with more ease and quality time. For a livelier atmosphere and the opportunity to interact with fellow science enthusiasts, the summer months of June, July, and August tend to be busier due to school holidays and vacation periods.
  • Weekend vs weekday: NEMO Science Museum is open from mid-morning until early evening from Tuesday to Sunday, on major Dutch holidays, and occasional Mondays outside of the peak summer season. However, school holidays, weekends, and rainy days are the busiest times at the museum.
  • On the day: The best time to visit NEMO Science Museum is either as soon as it opens at 10am or later in the evening, to avoid crowds
